Here we are, Tarla Faresi Tiyatrosu (Group Field Mouse), performing in İzmir since 2003. We have developed four stage shows and two of them “Sevda Bahçesi” and “The Drum, the Guitar and the Bag” are currently played. We usually make use of different techniques of puppetry in our plays. Along with the stage shows we have many plays for preschool audience.
“The Drum, the Guitar and the Bag” is a play without speech for 7 years and up. It is about friendship, caring for each other and allowing for the differences. The music score is original.
The drum is different, so is the guitar. The armonica and the castanets are much different. The piano, the trombone, the maracas, the baglama, the trumpet are all different. If they said
My sound is the best,
I can’t be with you,
You should sound like me,
What is wrong with you?
Could there ever be any enchanting songs?
Some of us are tall, some are short, some of us are funny, some are cute. We are all different. But sometimes that is why we torture our friends, they are different. However, these differences are what make life beautiful.
But who is this unexpected guest? Too much for the differences.
